This project of mine is completely in german, so sorry in advance if you can’t read the commands this bot includes.

I’ve blurred all names which aren’t me.

This bot runs on my personal discord server. I didn’t like the restrictions other discord bots had and especially not the paywall I sometimes encountered when searching for bots.

So I made my own.

This already started when I first found out you can make bots for discord years ago. This version of Kristian is the third instance.

The first instance was written in C#, then the API wasn’t supported anymore, so I tried switching to JavaScript.

I tried working in JavaScript and although I got better, I didn’t like the way it worked. I then switched to Python and created the second instance of Kristian.

When my IDE updated in a way that broke basically everything about my bot and also the API updated as well, I changed back to C# after a small timeframe of being angry about change.

This time I built this bot more object oriented than ever before. I’ve learned a lot through this project and found a new, even stronger love for object oriented programming.

This bot includes a huge amount of functions. There’s a monetary system implemented, a stock market system, an inventory system, two “RAM-Databases” which are saved automatically, gambling, some fun functions like quoting members of the server and many, many more.

This bot is not publicly available at the moment, especially since it only understands and speaks german. I might make this project publicly available in the future though.

If you understand german and want to see the range of functions this bot includes, I’d like to invite you to click here.
